It also has one of the most famous cities of the world- Bangkok and Pattaya. Thailand is a modern as well as a cultured nation. 1) Bangkok- Bangkok is the capital of Thailand and is a popular tourist destination. Grand palace , Wat Arun, floating market, Chinatown and Soi Cowboy in Bangkok are some of the well known places to visit in Thailand. 2) Pattaya: Famous for its beaches, Pattaya is a charged up coastal city. Although Pattaya is known as a party destination and a crowded city as it is located very close to Bangkok, you can always choose to stay in Pattaya during your Thailand travel if you love to see people around you. Pattaya beach , Floating market, Jomtien beach, Walking street , Pattaya viewpoint,  Coral island, Buddha mountain and Sanctuary of truth are the famous places to visit in Pattaya.

Kata beach, Freedom beach, Kata Noi beach, Surin beach and Paradise beach are the best Thailand beaches in Phuket that you should not miss on a Thailand vacation. Unlike Pattaya, Phuket is not very crowded, making Phuket the perfect place to stay with family and kids.
