It was the former British capital of India and boasts of having an illustrious past which reflects through the fascinating art, marvellous architecture and the amazing literature of the city. It is a quite, peaceful city and the people here are simple in nature.

Kolkata is a simple city. It comprises of a majority of the Bengali population, along with some people from the north eastern states of India such as Manipur, Assam, Meghalaya and Mizoram. Migration and urbanisation has developed the city much more .It is an important centre of trade, commerce, education and tourism. Kolkata is a city I would always love to visit.
