If there were no mobile phones!
It is impossible to think about life today without our mobile phones. Looks like if there would be no mobile phones , our planet would be in total disaster! Right from the moment we wake up from the bed till the time we go to bed, we are constantly doodling on our mobile phones. They have formed such an integral part of our life that it is impossible to imagine life without them. Life would come to a standstill without them. From playing games to managing our work, everything is done on the mobile phone. They have become so popular that every ordinary person on the street, too, possesses it.
If there would be no mobile phones, life would become boring. Almost every person is glued to his phone. Without mobile phones, nothing would seem to function. No one would have interest in doing anything. Everyone would lose their focus on things. Everything would become dull and lose its charm. People would become insane without their mobile phones. For some , mobile phones are like oxygen . From calling one's best friend, playing games , listening to music or operating their work,the mobile phone has some use for every person. It is so addictive in nature that once you get glued to it, you can't remove your attention from it. Lastly , we must appreciate this wonderful invention which man has made without which life would certainly be unimaginable.

                                                                       Rain wonder!
It is not easy to trust the rains today. Sometimes it rains in full force while it is drizzling other times. But have we stopped for a while to wonder how the pitter patter raindrops make the earth so beautiful and mesmerizing! But today the definition of rains has been only heavy downpour and thinking about how we can avoid the damage that would occur. Let's take a moment and appreciate how much the rains contribute towards enriching the beauty and maintainence of the ecosystem!  It is impossible to imagine life on earth without the rains. If there were no rains, there would be no growth of trees, no filling of lakes and seas, and no possibility of human life . We would miss the traffic jams, flooding of roads, disruptal of trains and most eagerly the possibility of a holiday from schools, colleges and work.
Although continuous and heavy rains create problems for us, they are somewhat essential. It might be irritating to face heavy downpours especially in a congested city like Mumbai where it has rained in torrents this year recording the highest rainfall in the last 5 years. Traffic snarls were recorded, trains stopped plying, roads were jammed and flooded, potholes were seen and so on. But inspite of this all, people tried to move on and carry on with life. This is where the rains motivated us to carry on with life despite all odds. Let's be thankful for the rains for what they give us.

                                                                      Ganpati Bappa Morya!!
The festival of joy and sweets has arrived with Lord Ganesha making its way to the well decorated pandals known as his second home . It is an environment of enthusiasm, fun, colour, happiness and comfort! People dress up well, Ganpati idols are well decorated and the air is filled with chants of Ganpati Bappa Mourya. Every house is well lit in this festive season.Sweets like modak, peda, kaju katri are relished by many. So let us make the most of it and enjoy welcoming Ganpati Bappa to the fullest.

                                                                       Amazon is burning!
The great rainforests of Amazon are burning and what are we doing? Many issues and questions have been raised from  all over the world to Brazil over the burning of one of the most beautiful forests and their response to tackling the situation. More than natural causes such as wind , heat or dry weather, it is manmade actions such as clearing of land for cattle grazing and several other purposes that are responsible for the fire taking place. Such beautiful forests have been reduced to ashes with no precautions and remedies taken to protect and conserve it!  The amazon forests are wonderful with different species of animals, plants, birds and flora and fauna.Such beauty has been burning for quite some time now and Brazil has taken no action to protect them. Brazil's negligence has been affecting its neighbouring countries too. It's high time we take steps to protect nature or otherwise we would have to face its wrath in such ways

                                                       Uber and Ola: A boon or a bane?
Everyone knows about the Ola and Uber and how easy it is to get one. You dont have to do anything except taking your mobile phone and approaching an uber through the app and there , you get one. Life has been made so simple with this app as you no longer have to  hunt tirelessly for a cab or stand in a queue. It has made it very convenient especially in terms of saving time, accomodation , cost, travel and other factors. It has proved to be a boon since it has made travel very relaxing. The only drawback is that the businesses of other local taxis have gone for a toss due to the Ola and Uber's flourishing profits.
Ola and Uber also gives plenty of job opportunities. It has become extremely convenient to book an Ola or Uber especially during times of  emergency when it would be difficult to get the khaali-peeli taxis. They are also good timesavers. From gathering all the experiences and responses from the people regarding the Ola and Uber, they have certainly proved to be a boon to many.

     I would like to wish you all a happy and a joyful Independence day!! Let us pledge to fulfill all our fundamental duties while enjoying our rights on this day onwards. We should remember our responsibilities towards our nation not only on this day but also throughout the year. There are so many promises we make on this day but forget to implement them on other days. We should not forget that Independence day is like every other normal day which can contribute to growth and development. So, from this day onwards, let's make every other day as Independence day keeping in mind our responsibilities and start afresh  whatever we begin with!!

                                                        Say No to Domestic violence!!

Domestic violence has become the major crime that is taking place nowdays. It is a torture for the person who suffers it and even becomes worse when he or she cannot express it . Domestic violence is basically violence and physical abuse that takes place inside the four walls of houses amongst family members especially. The victim is traumatised brutally and he/she tends to perceive all people as the ones who will be causing harm to him or her just like the one who has performed the crime on her. It happens to both ,the boys and the girls, especially the girls. Action can be taken against the accused by calling the police or by seeking help if wanted. This is one crime which is lying unnoticed but is still taking place without the culprit being punished which is unpardonable. Serious action should be taken against the culprit which would bring justice to the victim.
